Social Club                     

The new Calle Social Club (opened end January 2008) is a space for encounters: a place to talk, hold a class or a meeting, exchangeideas, watch a video, listen to music, dance, eat and drink, play dominos ... etc. It is in a building on the main street of the community of Morro dos Tabajaras, next door to the new library.

There are two computers with free internet access. There is a small bar with some snacks and drinks, the money from which goes to pay the rent and bills for the space.

The social club aims to stay open from 10am to 10pm or even later - depending on the presence of volunteers to organise and look after the space.
